Gardaí have seized a quantity of drugs following an intelligence based operation in Mayo this morning.

Gardaí conducted a search of a premises in Swinford at approximately 12:50am.

Approximately €250 of suspected tablets and a small quantity of suspected cannabis were seized and have been sent for analysis.

No arrests have been made to date.

Gardaí say investigations into the matter are ongoing.
