A new Covid-19 testing facility will open at Ireland West Airport Knock from 12 noon tomorrow - 8th December.

RocDoc currently operates drive-thru testing facilities at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports, and will operate a walk-through facility in the Arrivals area of the main terminal building at Knock Airport.

This will provide a private testing service to members of the public, with results available on the same day.

RocDoc offers approved tests using PCR and LAMP technology, and prices start from €129 per test.

Ireland West Airport Knock is due to reopen on 18th December, having been closed since mid-November due to the suspension of Ryanair flights.

RocDoc says the testing service is available for intending passengers, and also for the general public, and tests can be booked on CovidCheck.ie
