301 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in the Republic yesterday with no new deaths.

Dublin had the highest number at 119, followed by Donegal with 32, 16 in Cork and 13 each in Kilkenny and Kildare.

Across the region there are 10 new cases in Galway with less than five in Mayo, Roscommon and Leitrim.

Sligo has reported no new infections.

The national rate of infection is static at 80.7 per hundred thousand -- with the highest rates in Donegal, Kilkenny and Louth.

In Connacht, there’s a 14-day infection rate of 82 in Mayo, 52 in Roscommon, 50 in Galway, 39 in Sligo and 12 in Leitrim per 100,000 people.
