The woman killed in a multiple vehicle road traffic collision in Roscommon on Friday has been named locally as Grainne Dockery, from Strokestown.

The married mother-of-two lost her life when she was involved in a three car collision on the N5 just after 8am on Friday morning.

Her funeral is due to take place on Wednesday.

Gardai in Castlerea have renewed their appeal for information on the three vehicle crash which occurred near Scramogue Cross.

They are calling on any witnesses to this collision to come forward and for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), who were travelling in the area at this time to make this footage available to Gardaí.
