Irish band Fontaines D.C. have been nominated for a Grammy award.

The band's second album 'A Hero's Death' has been nominated for Best Rock Album.

The awards will take place on Sunday the 31st of January.

Two of the 5-man band - bass player Conor Deegan and drummer Tom Coll - are from Castlebar.
