The Department of Health has confirmed 5 further deaths from Covid-19, with 720 new cases of the virus confirmed this evening.

In this region, there are 47 new cases in Galway, 6 in Sligo, 23 in mayo, and less than 5 in both Roscommon and Leitrim.
