The new car park at the once controversial location of Brackloon Wood/ carpark, on the Leenane Road outside Westport, is a good example of how working together, essential local infrastructure and leisure facilities can be put in place.

That’s according to Fine Gael Councillor Peter Flynn.

Yellow lines are due to be out in at the car park facility in the next number of days.

Cllr Flynn told Midwest News that the development is a welcome and good news story.
