There are a number of homes without power across the region as Storm Francis continues.
In Roscommon a number of homes and premises were without power in the Castlerea and Roscommon Town areas.
63 people were without power in Castlerea since 5:25am this morning according to the ESB Powercheck App and it is expected power will be restored in this area around 10:15am this morning.
In Roscommon Town just over 150 people lost power overnight due to a fault in the area and power was due to be restored at 8:30am.
In Galway, up to 200 people were without power in the Gort area since the early hours of the morning and power was due to be restored to the affected customers by 7:15am.
The Irish Coast Guard says this is an unusual storm for August, and people are advised to stay away from coastal locations for the duration of the weather warnings.
Al road users should also be aware of hazardous driving conditions, with a danger of fallen trees and debris.
