A lorry has overturned on The Windy Gap road near Bofeenaun this afternoon.

The incident occurred in the past half an hour and Gardaí are making their way to the scene.

Midwest News Understands that the road will be closed for a number of hours.

It is not yet known if there are any injuries to report.
