Sligo County Council has lifted swimming bans at Mullaghmore Beach and at the Pier on Enniscrone beach.

Last Wednesday, a temporary ban on swimming was put in place on Mullaghmore beach, while earlier last week, swimming was banned at the pier on Enniscrone beach due to an infrastructure malfunction, which may have impacted on water quality.

Sligo County Council has now lifted both bans.
