Teachers are calling for rapid Covid-19 testing to be made available when schools return.

The Irish National Teachers Organisation want priority access for asymptomatic staff who request a test.

Schools are set to begin reopening at the end of the month.

The Sunday Independent reports the INTO is worried if there is a delay in testing, schools could be left without appropriate staff cover.
