Emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision in Glenamaddy this morning.

At around 8:20am a car crashed through the side door of Harte’s pub.

The female driver sustained minor injuries in the incident and was taken to University Hospital Galway by ambulance as a precaution.

Midwest News understands that Harte's Pub suffered severe damage in the collision.
