Over the weekend gardaí from Ballina Community Engagement Area were patrolling the Belleek area to encourage compliance with HSE Ireland Guidelines when they stopped and spoke with a motorist who had no Insurance, Tax or NCT.

The vehicle was seized.  

The driver was in a position to walk home as he was living within the new 5km radius.
