Defective lifts used during N-C-Ts won't be back in service until April.

It’s after 80 percent of the machinery was found to be needing repair - which resulted in a part of the test being suspended last month while inspections were carried out.

Thirteen new lifts were rolled out in the past week - the location of which were based on population and geography needs.

The service has agreed a repair programme which will start in March.
