A status yellow snow and ice warning has been issued for all of Connacht, Cavan and Donegal.

Met Eireann is forecasting that wintry showers will bring some accumulations of snow, especially on high ground.

The warning comes into effect at 6pm this evening and is valid until 11am on Monday morning.
