About 400 tractors will drive into Dublin city centre this afternoon, with farmers travelling from across the region to the capital for a two-day protest.

Individual farmers are taking part in the demonstration, as part of their ongoing campaign over beef prices, carbon tax and other issues.

Gardaí are warning of major traffic disruption and some road closures in the city centre.
