Staff at Ireland West Airport Knock have raised over €41,000 this year for the airport's three nominated charities.

Croí, Hope House and the Jack & Jill Foundation were the nominated charities for 2019 year, and a number of fundraising events were held throughout the past 12 months to raise funds - including the popular Runway Run which raised some €20,000, and the online charity draw.

This is the fourth year of the "charities of the year" initiative.

The chosen charities for 2020 will be announced next month.
