Ahead of Halloween tomorrow,  Castlebar Gardai have issued a warning about the dangers posed by illegal fireworks, and the kind of injuries that can result.

Gardai say the problem with buying illegal fireworks is that there's no quality control, and they can ignite easily, causing catastrophic injuries.
