An air traffic control outage in France in being blamed for the cancellation of the Knock-Birmingham flight yesterday.
Flybe has confirmed to Midwest News that the Knock-Birmingham service was cancelled due to the knock-on effect caused by the air traffic control action, which affected flights across the Flybe network.
The airline says all passengers affected were offered the option of being re-accomodated on an alternative flight, or applying for a full refund.
Flybe has apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused as a result of this situation, which it says was entirely out of its control.
