Met Éireann has extended a Status Yellow warning for rainfall to all counties this morning.

Thundery downpours could lead to accumulations of between 25 and 40mm, with the risk of localised flooding.

The alert remains in place until 3 o'clock tomorrow (Saturday) morning.
