The Ballycroy National Park was closed to visitors yesterday evening, following a ventilation problem at the Visitors Centre.

Initially, it was thought a small fire had broken out in the plant room, but following assessment, it emerged that a ventilation problem had caused a lot of steam to be released.

The Visitors Centre at Ballycroy is due to reopen to the public today.
