Funding has been allocated for additional accommodation at Newtownwhite Educate Together National School in the Ballina area.

The school - which became an Educate Together school in 2014 - has been approved for two new mainstream classroms and a prefab replacement.

Ballina area FG Councillor Jarlath Munnelly says it's welcome news for the Newtownwhite school where pupil numbers are growing.....
