Westport Gardai are investigating the theft of cash and jewellery from a car yesterday afternoon.

Between 3pm and 3.20, a car was broken into at Doolough, Louisburg - about 2km from Delphi Adventure Centre.

A substantial amount of cash and jewellery was taken from the car.
