Well known Auctioneer Gerry Coffey was selected last night at the Roscommon Municipal District Convention to represent Fine Gael in the upcoming local elections.

The Granlahan based auctioneer & beef farmer is a lifelong community activist and is currently the chairman Michael Glaveys GAA Club which.

Gerry Coffey has been selected to contest the Roscommon County Council elections as a Fine Gael candidate in the Roscommon municipal area in a bid to replace retiring Cllr Michael Creaton.

Mr. Coffey says he is delighted to have got the endorsement of the party.
