Minister Michael Ring has welcomed the appointment of Fine Gael Councillor Tereasa McGuire from Westport as a Peace Commissioner.

Minister Michael Ring said he was pleased to hear that Councillor McGuire has been appointed as a Peace Commissioner. He congratulated Tereasa on this appointment and said Tereasa is a person of good character and standing within the community.  She is a well-respected teacher, Councillor and overall community person.
