A man is due before Castlebar court  today charged in connection with the theft of a caravan and other thefts in the Westport area last May.

Yesterday a man in his forties was arrested in the Ronanstown area of Dublin.

He was charged with the thefts and was brought in custody to appear before a sitting of Castlebar court today.
