Gardai in Roscommon have arrested a driver on suspicion of driving while under the influence of cannabis.

According to An Garda Siochana's Facebook page, the Roscommon Roads Policing Unit stopped a motorists over the weekend, who had no driving licence and no insurance.

After conducting an oral-fluid test, Gardai also found the driver tested positive for cannabis.

The vehicle was seized, and the motorist will face a court appearance.
