Due to the weather conditions, Mayo County Council has extended the hours worked by the Lifeguards at the following beaches:-
Bertra
Carrowmore
Carrowniskey
Old Head
Keel
Keem
Mulranny
Silver Strand, Dugort
Ross
The Beach Lifeguards will be working from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day up to Sunday, 15th July, 2018.
The Pool Lifeguards at Belmullet Tidal Pool will be working from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. each day up to Sunday, 15th July, 2018.
The weather forecast will be reviewed over the weekend to consider extending this arrangement into next week.
Mayo county council is urging the public to keep safe and always listen to the advice of the Lifeguards.
