Kinvara is the most expensive place to buy property in Connacht / Ulster according to a new report.

The Daft.ie Wealth Report 2018 shows the average home in Kinvara now stands at €318,000.

Oughterard is the second-most expensive town in Connacht / Ulster at €236,000, followed by Westport where the average house price is €226,000.

In Galway city, average house prices are now at €274,000, compared to €145,000 in Co Mayo.

The most expensive place in the country to buy property is in Sandycove in Dublin, where average prices are €910,000 followed by Mount Merrion, Foxrock, Dalkey and Sandymount.
