The removal takes place this evening in Ballina of former Minister and deputy for East Mayo Sean Calleary .

Tributes continue to pour in for the late Fianna Fail politician who died at the weekend.

Former EU Commissioner, a man who served as a Minister with Sean Calleary, a party colleague, Castlebar based Padraig Flynn paid tribute TO Mr Calleary saying he made a huge contribution at community, county and national level.

Sean's  remains will be reposing at McGowan's Funeral Home, Ballina this  evening from 5 o’clock until 8 o’clock.

Funeral will arrive to  St. Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina tomorrow (Thursday) for Mass at 12.30 with burial afterwards in Leigue Cemetery.
