A Foxford native was injured in a crash in Belgium this week.

According to the Irish Field, 25-year-old showjumper Jack Dodd suffered head trauma and broken bones in the crash on Wednesday morning and was taken to hospital where he is in an induced coma but a stable non-life threatening condition.

Jack is originally from Foxford, where his parents have a riding school.

He set up his own business in Balen, Belgium at the end of last summer.
