Over 1,000 people are expected to take part in the charity 5K runway run, being held at Ireland West Airport Knock this Saturday evening.

Runners and walkers will take off down the runway at 7pm to raise money for the airport’s three nominated charities for 2018 – the Mayo / Roscommon Hospice, Down Syndrome Ireland and CMRF – the Children’s Medical & Research Foundation in Crumlin.

This is the third year of the event.
