Three candidates were last night selected to run for Fianna Fail in the next election in the Sligo/Leitrim constituency.

Sitting TDs Eamon Scanlon and Marc MacSharry, along with Leitrim’s Shane Ellis were all selected for the party.

The convention was held in the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon and was chaired by Roscommon/Galway Deputy Eugene Murphy.
