
€247,500 which has been allocated to Mayo County Council for development and repair projects on harbours and slipways.
According to Minister Michael Ring the announcement is part of an overall €2.2 million Capital Investment Programme which will allow 13 Coastal Local Authorities to undertake and complete 52 development and repair projects on harbours and slipways.
Minister Ring told Midwest News today that the package provides funding for maintenance and repair works in addition to supporting the ongoing development and enhancement of harbour facilities including some marine leisure developments.
