In Galway, the N84 Headford Road  remains closed both ways on the Headford side of Corrandulla Cross following a collision yesterday evening.

Gardai have confirmed that a 3-vehicle collision occurred at about 7pm last evening.

Four people were taken to hospital – one with serious injuries.

The road will remains closed for several hours this morning to facilitate a forensic examination.
