Gardai in Claremorris are advising drivers to slow down today on the N17 at Drimneen, at the junction to the old Knock road, following a three vehicles collision.

The collision between a lorry and two cars occurred shortly before 9am.

There is debris and oil on the road and efforts are underway to remove the lorry.

Traffic is down to one lane.

Motorists are advised to take due caution on approach.
