Mayo County Council needs to take action to remove a dangerous bend at Bruff, Aughamore – that’s according to Fianna Fail Councillor John Caulfield.

At a meeting of the Claremorris Municipal District of Mayo County Council, Councillor Caulfield outlined the dangers posed by this bend, between Bruff Cross and Aughamore, and called on the local authority to take the necessary action to improve safety at this location.

The council has now agreed to do a costing on the project, and Councillor Caulfield told Midwest Radio News Editor Teresa O’Malley that he’s hopeful the funding will be found for this work…
