Mayo is to receive an initial allocation of 375,000 euro for the enhancement of group water schemes around the county.

That’s according to Mayo-based Minister Michael Ring, who says further allocations to support group water schemes will be made in due course.

Minister Ring says many people living in rural areas of Mayo depend on group water schemes, and this grant will go towards enhancing existing schemes.
