More than 20 percent of Mayo Farmers have not received any funding as yet for their 2017 Glas payments.

Mayo Fianna Fail deputy Lisa Chambers says the matter is completely unacceptable, and despite raising the matter in the Dail, she told Midwest News there is no real explanation as to what the hold up is.

5,500 farmers in the county submitted Glas applications last year, and to date 1200 of these payments remain outstanding.
