The community of Ballaghaderreen are shocked and saddened by the death of 19 year old Stephen O’Gara following a tragic collision while on holiday with members of his family in Lanzorote  at the weekend.

The teenager, from Augherine, Ballaghaderreen  was fatally injured after his quad bike was in collision with a car in the early hours of Saturday morning last on the holiday island.

Local Senator, John O’Mahony says the sympathy and support of the community is now with the family.
