A press reception will be held this evening by the Mayo Association Dublin to announce the winners of the 2018 Mayo Person of the Year, Mayo Young Person of the Year and Mayo Meitheal awards.

A judging panel has been sifting through the nominations, and the winners of the three awards will be announced here on Midwest Radio on our Evening Edition programme, as well as at the reception at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin.

The awards will be presented to the recipients at The Yew Tree Ball which takes place on10th February.
