The boil water notice on the Brackloon Spaddagh group water scheme, in the Ballyhaunis area has been lifted.

The group water scheme was informed of the development by Mayo county council in consultation with the HSE.

The boil alert was in place for more than 6 months on the scheme and its lifting is welcome news for the householders affected.
