A status yellow rainfall warning remains in place for Mayo, Galway and Sligo.

According to Met Eireann, heavy rainfall is expected later on Friday, overnight and into early Saturday with falls of 30 to 50mm expected.

The warning is in place from 3pm this afternoon until 3pm tomorrow.
