
A Roscommon Senator is calling for Ryanair to appear before the Oireachtas Transport Committee on relation to the seating allocation policy for families.
Before the change in policy last year, Senator Frank Feighan says family members checking in online at the same time almost always ended up sitting together, but families now have to pay extra to guarantee they’ll have seats together on-board.
Senator Feighan, who’s a member of the Oireachtas Transport Committee, told Midwest News he has now written to the committee chairman Fergus O’Dowd with a view to inviting Ryanair to come before the committee and explain the rationale behind its seating policy…
