Following Tuesday night’s storm Eleanor some areas of Kiltimagh remained without water last night (Wed).

Mayo county council says that it’s due to low levels in the Kiltimagh reservoir. The areas affected are

 Treenkeel/Teanlaur       

Carrick Area                       

Galboy Area                      

Bohola Road                      

Kilkelly Road                      

Balla Road

 In total, approx 240 houses were without water overnight.  The local authority says it hopes that the  water supply will be restored to these areas between 9 am and 12 noon today (Thursday)

Mayo county council is providing an alternative Water Supply from a water tanker at Super value Carpark in Kiltimagh.
