300  households, farms and businesses across county Mayo are still without electricity this lunchtime. That has been confirmed in the past few minutes by a spokesperson for ESB Networks.

A spokesperson for ESB Networks says Crews continue to make progress on reconnecting customers in the county.

Approx 300 homes are without power at this stage, in small pockets mainly in the eastern half of the county. 

The spokesperson said it is hoped to have all customers  in the county restored by the end of today.
