A number of areas of Co Mayo are still without power supplies and water supplies, following Storm Eleanor.

About 850 houses which are connected to the PBKS group water scheme are without water at present, following the storm.

This affects householders in the Straide, Ballyvary, Prison, Lisnolan and Keelogues areas.

Work is ongoing to restore water supplies, but it could be tomorrow before all customers are reconnected.
