Paddy died on Monday, February 10th after a short illness borne with his usual stoicism & good humour in the kind, compassionate, gentle & professional care of the ICU, Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his wife Kathleen & son Michael.

May they rest in peace

Loved & mourned by his daughters Angela (Davies) & Julie (Spelman), his adored grandchildren Katie, Eleanor, Rebecca, Ben & Hannah, his sons-in-law Nick & Niall, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends & neighbours.

Reposing in Gavins Funeral Home, Knox Street, Ballyhaunis, Co Mayo F35 WF22 on Friday, February 14th from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

Funeral arriving to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballinlough on Saturday morning for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock with the funeral proceeding to the local cemetery.

I wish to offer my sincere condolences to Paddy’s daughters Angela and Julie on the sudden passing of their beloved Dad , also my condolences to his grandchildren and his sons in law and extended family here and away . Paddy has been a sincere and decent neighbour to the Carroll family for many a year , only a phone call away at any time day or night . The front door of his warm home was always open to me and the kettle was on the boil almost immediately. We enjoyed some interesting conversations over the years . His hospitality was something I’ll treasure . So Paddy rest in peace my dear friend and keep an eye on us all from your new home above , reunited with your dear wife Kathleen and your son Michael .
