(5th February, 2025) - peacefully at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Bernadette, by his brothers James, Patrick, Charles, Michael, Noel, Desmond, Philip, Joseph, Gerrard and his sister Mary.

Dearly loved father of Eamon (London), Paul (Dublin), Bernie Reddy (Ballina) and Michael (Texas). Deeply regretted by daughters-in-law, Brenda, Bruna and Sue, son-in-law, Paul, and grandchildren Kieran, Emma, Liam, Eva, Hugo, William, Arianna, Edward, Hollie and Jake, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Ballina (F26 V274) on Sunday, 9th February from 5:00 with removal at 6:00pm to St Muredach’s Cathedral, Ballina.

Requiem Mass on Monday morning, 10th February at 11:30am followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery, Ballina.

I have fond memories of Dom from when I joined St. Muredach’s Cathedral Choir at the age of 13 until I finished school at 18, 36 yrs ago. At that time, Dom was a stalwart in the bass section, never missing choir practice on a Thursday night & always singing at 11am Mass every Sunday. He was a true gentleman & always had a big smile on his face & a sparkle in his eye. The song that comes to mind is The Little Drummer Boy, where Dom’s velvet bass tones shone through every Christmas. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace ?
