John Padden,

Barnagh East, Clogher, Belmullet, Co. Mayo - peacefully at the Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar on 6th February 2025.

Predeceased by his parents William and Nora.

Beloved husband of Anne, dear father of John, Richard, Ann Marie, Lisa and Ciara and cherished grandfather to Seán, Oisín, Cormac, Ava, Lauren, Adam, Zoe, Saoirse, Alex and Seán.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Sheila and Jodie, sons-in-law Darren and Scott, brothers Thomas and Peter, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

May His Kind and Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Sunday evening from 3 o’clock until 5 o’clock.

Funeral will arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown on Monday afternoon for Funeral Mass at 12.30 followed by burial in Cross Cemetery.

Family flowers only please by request.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Monday afternoon at 12.30 with all other funeral services available for viewing at 7 o’clock on Monday evening.

The family home will remain private on Sunday and Monday morning.
